The Department of Chinese Studies at the Center for Eastern Languages and Cultures, Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, invites participation in a milestone academic conference marking 35 years of Chinese studies in Bulgaria.
This jubilee forum gathers scholars from Bulgaria, China, and Europe to examine the "Chinese World" through diverse humanitarian and social science disciplines. The conference offers a platform for discourse on traditional themes alongside contemporary regional and interdisciplinary issues.
Venue: Sofia University Rectorate (Aula and "The Egg" Hall).

Deadline for summary (up to 400 words) and application form.
Formatting Requirements
- Length: 20,000 symbols (Latin/Cyrillic) or 8,000 Chinese characters.
- Font: Times New Roman (Latin) / Deng Xian (Chinese).
- Layout: 34 lines per page.
- Referencing: MLA 7th edition. Transliterate non-English bibliography entries into Roman script.
