Academic profile: Maria Marinova is an assistant professor in the “Chinese Studies” major at Sofia University since 2007, teaching a number of theoretical disciplines in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes. She is also author of scientific publications, translator of books, compiler of conference proceedings, member of the editorial and review committees of scientific books and journals. Member of the European Association for Chinese Studies and the European Association for Asian Art and Archaeology.

Main disciplines: Chinese Phonetics and Phonology, Chinese Dialectology, Modern Chinese History, Specialised Translation (Law, Economics, IT).
