Papers from the international conference, jointly organized by the Department of Sinology at Sofi a University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the Department of China Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University The Conference Procedings, published in two volumes, contain selected and revised papers, presented at the international conference “China and the World: Language, Culture, Politics”, jointly organised by the Department of Sinology at Sofi a University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the Department of China Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong–Liverpool University in December 2019. The conference was held in commemoration of the 70-th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between PRC and Bulgaria and was attended by almost one hundred scholars from China, Europe, the United States and Australia, thus marking a new step in interdisciplinary research on China. The two volumes of the Conference Proceedings have been registered into the National Reference List of Contemporary Bulgarian Scientific Publications with Scientific Review maintained by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science.
