Full-time PhD student at Sofia University. PhD in Chinese Lexicology and Lexicography. (September 2018).

Master's degree:

2010-2012: Applied Linguistics with Chinese, Master's thesis "Composing a Chinese-Bulgarian Study Dictionary", defended on 3.04.2012.

Bachelor's degrees:

2005-2010: bachelor degree in Chinese Studies, Sofia University.

One-year language specialization in Chinese language at the Fudan University, Shanghai, China (September 2007 - July 2008).

2000-2005: bachelor degree in Business Administration with English language, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University, with Italian as a second language.

 

High School:

Professional Experience:

 

Since May 2008: Freelance translator and interpreter between Chinese, English and Bulgarian; sworn-in translator since 2010.

February 2011 – June 2016: Adjunct lecturer, Chinese Studies Program, Sofia University.

Since February 2012: Adjunct Lecturer, Plovdiv University. Courses taught: Practical Chinese language, Chinese Lexicology, Chinese Morphology, Chinese Syntax, Chinese Stylistics.

Since June 2016: Full-time Assistant Professor, Sofia University

 

Other Achievements:

First prize winner of the national university students Chinese contest Chinese Bridge, July 2010.
